Dust collectors PVM type

Wet ventilation dust collectors of the PVM type are designed to clean the air removed by exhaust ventilation systems from all types of dust, including explosive and fire hazardous, polymer, fibrous, etc. It is not recommended for use in cases where the collected dust is capable of cementing and crystallizing in water, forming durable deposits. When the initial dust concentration is more than 10 g/m3, it is recommended to use it as a second stage after the simplest dry dust collectors.

PVMSA – equipped with a device for draining sludge. PVMKB – equipped with a scraper mechanism for removing sludge.
PVMB – equipped with side pockets for draining sludge. PVMKMA – equipped with a scraper mechanism for removing sludge and designed to capture aluminum and zinc dust.

General design and operation of dust collectors (DEM)

Dust collectors are a metal body consisting of lower and upper sections. There are two partitions in the lower section. The lower section is partially filled with water. Dust-laden air enters the dust collector through the inlet due to the vacuum created by the fan, comes into contact with water in the channel formed by the partitions, and is cleaned of dust. Sludge removal is carried out in the PVMSA by draining through a valve; in PVMKB and PVMKMA – by a scraper mechanism; in PVMB – the captured floating dust is drained into a pocket. Dust collectors are equipped with sensors – level relays, which, when the water level in the FDA drops below the minimum level, produces an emergency stop of the dust collector fans.

When installing fans and FDA separately, it is possible to use other types of ventilation units. The fan speed and
motor power are determined according to the ventilation design and are specified when ordering. The standard delivery does not include the ventilation regatta.

On request, dust collectors can be made in anti-corrosion stainless steel.
