Section of pocket filters type SKF

The section houses pocket filters of the FYaK type with overall dimensions of the inlet section of 500×500 mm or 592×592 mm of purification classes from G3 to F9 and pocket lengths up to 600 mm. In the SKF section of the 2nd standard size for filters with an inlet section size of 592×592, folded compact filters FyaS-K can be installed.

General structure of pocket filter sections (PFC)

The pocket filter section consists of a metal body with inlet and outlet flanges for connection to the flanges of ventilation systems using bolted connections through sealing rubber. On one side the SCF body has doors that are sealed with the body due to a special seal placed on them and clamps.

Inside the housing, pocket filters are placed in tiers, which are pushed into the housing along guides located at the top and bottom of each tier. The pocket filter frames are sealed in the housing guides by pressing them against a rubber seal glued to one side of the guides. In one tier, the FyaK, FyaS-K filters are sealed between each other and the SCF wall using rubber seals glued to the vertical end surfaces of the FyaK, FyaS-K frames. In the index of filters FyaK, FyaS-K for SKF equipment, the letter “U” is added, indicating the presence of the specified seals. The section has two fittings for connecting devices that measure filter resistance, for example a differential pressure gauge type DPG-600.

Filters FyaK, FyaS-K for the SKF section are supplied separately and are installed after installing the section in the ventilation system.

During the operation of the filters, their aerodynamic resistance should be monitored according to the readings of the pressure gauge connected to the fittings of section 6 of the SCF.

Section SKF 2/6×5 is equipped with 4 fittings 6, two on each side, to control the resistance in each half of the section (SKF 2/3×5) using 2 pressure gauges. In practice, it is enough to control only one half, because with a uniformly distributed air inlet, dusting of the filters (increase in resistance) occurs evenly.

When the pressure drop reaches the value specified in the project, or based on the available pressure in the ventilation system, it is necessary to replace the filters.
