The SIOT cyclone washer is a direct-flow wet dust collector in which dust is captured not only by deposition on the wetted walls of the cyclone under the action of centrifugal forces, but also by washing the air with water sprayed by the air flow.

Three types of cyclones have been developed:

TYPE I – with a spinner that directs the air flow leaving the cyclone downward;

TYPE II – with a snail spinner;

TYPE III – without unwinder, with air ejected upward;
