Cartridge filter elements (FEP) are designed to equip cartridge (cartridge) self-cleaning filters, which can be used in various industries to clean aspiration air from various types of dust. Cartridge filter elements can also be used in air treatment systems of gas turbine and compressor units.

Filter filter elements operate in regeneration (self-cleaning) modes, which is carried out by pulse blowing with compressed air. FEP can be made from various filter materials based on cellulose, synthetic fibers (polyester, polypropylene fibers), as well as a mixture of cellulose and synthetic fibers.

Filter materials are distinguished by their cleaning efficiency and can be selected in accordance with consumer requirements, based on specific operating conditions. The efficiency of standard solar cells for most types of dust is, as a rule, at least 99.9%. To capture fine aerosols (plasma, laser cutting of metals, etc.), a highly effective synthetic material with a cleaning efficiency of at least 99.9% for particles with a size of 0.5 – 1 µm can be used.

* – the length of the cartridges can be different, but not more than 1200mm. Filter elements of other sizes are manufactured upon request.

General design of cartridge filter elements (FEP)

The filter element is made in the form of a “cartridge” and is a hollow cylinder, the surface of which is formed by corrugated filter material (mini-pleated filter bag). On one end side of the filter element there is a metal end disk with mounting holes, on the other there is an end ring with a rubber seal. Fastening and sealing of the filter material with the disk and ring is done using a special sealant. Bandage belts are used to secure the corrugations together. A metal support mesh is fixed inside the filter element, giving rigidity to its structure.
