FyaS-KT – compact air filters for HEU gas turbines (F6-F9)

FyaS-KT filters are designed for cleaning cycle air in HEU (KVOU) gas turbine and compressor units.
FyaS-KT filters can be installed in the SSF-T air filter section (see the catalog of NPP FOLTER LLC).

FyaS-KT air filters are produced in 3 standard overall dimensions according to the inlet section: 592×592 mm; 287×592 mm and 490×592 mm (filters of other sizes can be manufactured upon request). FyaS-KT air filters are available in 2 standard sizes in depth (length along the air flow): standard 292 mm and extended 400 mm. Air filters with increased depth allow for 1.5 times more filter surface, which reduces the initial aerodynamic drag and increases the service life of these filters. Standard FyaS-KT air filters are available in 4 classes: F6; F7; F8; F9. These filters can also be produced in higher classes H10; H11; H12. In this case, it is advisable to use FyaS-KT air filters with increased depth (400 mm).

General design of compact air filters for HEU gas turbines (FyaS-KT)

The filter consists of a housing (plastic or aluminum alloy), inside of which filter bags made of mini-pleated filter material are installed at an angle to the direction of air flow. The filter housing has a flange for sealing it in the openings of the installation frames (windows). The filter bags are sealed in the housing using a special sealant. At the air outlet, the filter bags are equipped with a special mesh that prevents the possible removal of destroyed bags from the filters in the event of emergency situations. The maximum pressure drop across the filter is 7000 Pa.
