General design of compact carbon filters (FyaS-S-K)

The filter consists of a housing, inside of which filter bags made of mini-pleated carbon filter material are installed at an angle to the direction of air flow. The material consists of two thin layers of synthetic material, between which small granules of activated carbon are placed. The filter housing has a flange with which the filter is hermetically installed in the openings of the filter chambers.

The filter material consists of polyester fibers, between which small granules of activated carbon are embedded. The polyester fibers in this structure provide a frame base and prevent the removal of small granules of activated carbon from the filter layer.

Recommendations for the operation of compact carbon filters (FyaS-S-K)

As mentioned above, FyaS-S-K filters are designed to remove gaseous and vapor contaminants from the purified air, which are sorbed by the developed fine-porous structure of activated carbon.

For normal operation of FyaS-S-K filters, class F7 filters (for example, FyaK, FyaS-K, FyaS-F-PMP or FyaS-F filters) must be installed in front of them, which protect the filter layer of FyaS-S-K filters from contamination fine aerosols that reduce the sorption capacity of activated carbon.

During the entire period of operation, if the above recommendations are followed, the aerodynamic resistance of the FyaS-S filters remains practically unchanged.
