Folded cell filters type FyaS-F

FyaS-F filters are designed for cleaning supply and recirculation air in ventilation and air conditioning systems for various premises. These filters are usually used as the second stage (fine cleaning according to GOST R 51251-99) of air purification after less efficient filters. FyaS-F filters can be used to replace filters of the FyaK type, as they are sufficiently compact, and can also serve to replace a filter of the FyaS1 type (discontinued).

Filter parameters are determined in accordance with GOST R51251-99 and “Guidelines for testing and evaluation of air filters for supply ventilation and air conditioning systems” / M. Stroyizdat, 1974. The environment and filtered air must not contain aggressive gases and vapors. The filter can be used without changing technical characteristics at ambient temperatures from –400C to 400C. Upon request, filters can be manufactured for operation at higher temperatures of the purified air.

General device

The filter consists of a housing (galvanized steel), inside of which filter material is folded. To prevent adjacent folds of filter material from sticking together, corrugated separators made of aluminum foil are laid between them. The filter package, including material with lined separators, is sealed in the housing by laying a special sealing material or filling it around the entire perimeter with a special sealant.

Maintenance of cell pleated filters (FyaS-F)

During the operation of filters, their aerodynamic resistance should be monitored according to the readings of a micromanometer connected to fittings located in the walls of the air purification chambers before and after the filters. When the pressure drop reaches the value specified in the project, or based on the available pressure in the ventilation system, it is necessary to replace the filters.
