Cyclones type TsN-15

Depending on the gas capacity and application conditions, cyclones are manufactured in a single design (internal diameter from 200 to 2000 mm) or in a group design – from two, four, six and eight cyclones of the same internal diameter (from 300 to 900 mm). Group cyclones are manufactured with “left” and “right” rotation of the gas flow, single ones – only with “right” rotation.

Depending on the layout, group cyclones can be with a purified gas chamber in the form of a “snail” or in the form of a collector, and single cyclones only with a “snail”. Cyclone bunkers are pyramidal in shape. When operating cyclones, continuous dust discharge must be ensured. In this case, the dust level in the bunkers should not be higher than a plane located from the bunker lid at 0.5 of the cyclone diameter.

The technical specifications show performance values ​​related to the speed in the cylindrical part of the cyclone V=2.5 and 4.0 m/s. Under normal conditions, the optimal speed is 4.0 m/s. A speed of 2.5 m/s is recommended when working with abrasive dust. Depending on the ambient temperature, cyclones are made of carbon steel (at temperatures up to -40°C) and low-alloy steel (at temperatures below -40°C).
